You can reach Coronado Island from San Diego by exiting Coronado Bay Bridge out of I-5. With water from San Diego, you can ride the Coronado Ferry which operates every hour from 9am - 10pm. Walking from Ferry Landing to Hotel Del Coronado is a little more than a mile.
